Our Process - AB Brothers Construction

Our Construction Process

At AB Brothers Construction, we’re proud to be one of the premier Pittsburgh home builders. Our process is simple yet thorough, ensuring your home construction or renovation project is smooth from start to finish. From the initial consultation, where we learn about your vision, to the final walkthrough of your newly built or remodeled home, we handle everything with transparency and care. Whether you’re dreaming of a custom-built home or transforming your current space, we’re here to bring your ideas to life with high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Free in-home consultation

After contacting AB Brothers Construction, Andrew will schedule an appointment with the potential client. In the consultation, all details of the job will be discussed, and we will provide insight into the job and point out any possible concerns for the work.

Project Estimate

Estimates typically take 1-2 weeks to generate and send out. You will receive a detailed estimate that reflects the project notes taken from the in-home consultation.

“We just used AB Brothers Construction for a complete bathroom renovation and they are great! ”

Elysia Tonti

“By far the best contractor I have used. Very professional.”

Darrell Kochanski

Project Approval

If the estimate needs to be revised, a second in-home consultation can be scheduled. After the estimate is approved, we require a signed contract with a small deposit to hold a spot in our schedule.

Planning Process

Throughout the planning process of the job, we have multiple phone and in-home meetings to finalize down to the smallest details of the job before work commences. We also work very closely with our vendors in the ordering process to ensure that we are getting all the right products and quantities.

Project Schedule

Before the job is started, the client is provided with a detailed day-to-day schedule of the project. This schedule informs the customer of what type of work is going to be done each day.

How we work

We take great care in prepping the client’s home to prevent any damages during the project. We use floor and wall coverings, and plastic zipper walls to ensure a clean and safe workspace. Daily work is performed by skilled tradesmen with care and craftsmanship. The client’s home is cleaned daily. We take pride in respecting each client’s home as if it were our own.

“AMAZING work from start to finish.”



“I’m so glad that AB Brothers was recommended to me when I needed my main bathroom remodeled. Their communication was great, they worked long hours to make sure my family wasn’t without our main bathroom for too long, and the finished job exceeded my expectations. I seriously can’t say enough great things. It’s been over 3 years since my bathroom was done and everything still looks great.”
